CE marking and European compliance
Under the EU Machinery Directive and the successor Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, machinery placed on the European market must be accompanied by instructions in the official language of each member state where it will be used. Incomplete or poorly translated documentation is grounds for market withdrawal.
